Description:
1936 Vintage Racing Austin 7 “The Rivet Special"
This car started life as a racing Austin 7 and after a few years it was then converted to a 750 formula racing car and the history unfortunately I do not have. Graham Chambers then purchased the car and converted it back to a racing Austin 7 and then proceeded to race it with great success and had many victories including lap records. I purchased the car from him in 2004 and have raced it every year in the Triple Challenge races. So far there has never been a year without I have not won a trophy.
Since owning it I have had the engine totally rebuilt by Darrel Woods and it has only done six hours racing, it is now under going modifications and an update ready for this season
